Make a journal from scratch (Part 1, part 2 to follow in Sept)
Description of class:

Dyan will be live Monday 23rd – Thursday 26th August at 6.30pm UK Time in a specially made Facebook group. When you purchase the class on Etsy you will receive details of the group you need to join. If your Facebook name is different to your actual name, please leave a comment in the Etsy order. The Facebook live will be store posted in the group and you will be able to meet the other students, post your pages, ask questions and join in the fun. Don't worry if you can't make the live as you can watch the video later. After a few months the group will be archived but you will still be able to access the video.

One of the first journals I ever made still remains one of my faves. Everything including the pages, are created from scratch. A lot of prep work goes into it but it's soooo rewarding! The texture and feel of the journal pages are so satisfying, you'll want to just touch it all day lol. We will be using very basic materials and equipment. It's time consuming and messy but definitely worth it.
We will be constructing the journal pages and cover, then decorating them with painted backgrounds. There will be a part 2 to this class in a few week's time when all the pages have cured and we can start collaging and journaling.
This class has only ever been taught in the UK at art from the heart and once in savage, Maryland. This is an updated version.
