Store LULU orca [killer whale] necklace

Orca necklace laser cut from black and white acrylic with an ink rubbed clear acrylic layer which creates a net. Hung from abandoned aqua fishing rope attached with silver plated clasp and findings.

Lulu, one of Britain's last remaining resident Orcas unfortunately died in 2016 store after becoming entangled in discarded fishing rope. We want to raise awareness of this issue and you can help us by wearing your own beautiful Lulu necklace with pride.

Every necklace will differ slightly as the rope is collected from the Sussex coastline, washed and then attached to silver plated findings making each necklace totally unique.

The World Cetacean Alliance (WCA) is the world's largest global partnership to protect whales, dolphins and porpoises (cetaceans) and their habitats. The WCA's Untangled Project aims to highlight and address the problems created in our seas by ghost gear - abandoned fishing net/line/rope - which is causing the death of hundreds of thousands of marine animals every year.
