This Antique Banjara Gypsy bohemian or "Indian vintage " sturdy cotton hand embroidered Toran (door hanging) from Kutch Gujarat.
A "Tribal" design is classic style which effective in conveying the adoration that went into it's creation.
It is designed to hang above a door or window, however, it would be equally suitable as a footer on the end of a bed or one the back of a sofa or as a table runner.
NOTE store : There is some wear and there are a few stains at the two ends but indeed they do nothing to diminish its beauty.
There is some dirt and wear,some small holes from Vintage Material.
Some of the mirrors are cracked/burned or are missing.
Vintage condition- Original sketch or print mark will show in some places.
Some of the material on the flags have frayed or worn.
This is an old Toran (door hanging) and made by 1960's tribal people so do not expect perfect condition.
