80s Jacket and Skirt Set Blue Speckled Wool and Leather store Suit Vintage 1980s Two Piece Outfit XS/S

Quality vintage two piece skirt and jacket set in blue tweedy all-wool with blue leather trim. The wool has small white fibres and subtle multicolored speckling throughout. Label: Next. Made in United Kingdom. Era: 1980s (does early 50s). Dry clean only.

The jacket has a leather trimmed shawl style collar, dolman sleeves, split hem at hips and double snap button closure at waist. There are two adjustable leather straps at the waist to cinch with a peplum effect. It is lined with blue polyester. There are no pockets.

The skirt has an attached leather half-belt, double button with front zip closure, two leather trimmed store slash pockets and front and back walking slits. It will hit below knee to mid calf on most and is fully lined with blue polyester.

Both pieces in excellent condition.

The jacket is tagged a size 10. The skirt is tagged a 12. Estimated best fit is a size XS-S, however to help ensure a good fit for you please go by the following approximate measurements, taken flat:

Jacket (buttoned):
Armpit to armpit: dolman sleeves, around 20"
Shoulders: raglan, no seams
Sleeves from cuff to middle of back of neck: 29"
Waist across front and doubled: 28" strapped (can be adjusted up to 30")
Hips across front and doubled: 40"
Total length from base of back of neck to hem: 26"

Skirt:
Waist, across front and doubled: 26.5"
Hips, across front and doubled: 38"
Top of waist to hem: 29"
