As A Whip Makes a Cur - primitive minimalist soft black tea brown chalcedony stone cabochon, store textured sterling silver simple round ring
store "He looked at her sitting beside him, in awe, as always, of her gifts: that serene beauty which masks such lambent passion, those prismatic charms that had taken root in his soul and made him her slave: as a whip makes a cur."
- William Kennedy
Minimalist with primitive texture and a soft glow---this solid sterling silver statement ring has been sawed, filed, sanded, hammered, soldered, and oxidized by yours truly. I have bezel-set it with a natural cabochon of gemmy black tea chalcedony (agate). The triple-banded shank has been heavily textured on the fossilized Ohio-limestone outside of my home for a weathered primitive look, and the base has been stamped with my LoveRoot mark. I measure this to be a size 6.5. Other rings in this series are pictured in the 8th picture.
All of my metalworked pieces have been created one at a time using sheet metal, wire, and hand tools only, meaning no two pieces will ever be alike - a true carrying of the torch for the ancient art of metalworking!
Your ring will come packaged in a rustic stamped eco-friendly brown kraft box - perfect for gifting or just treating yourself.
Thank you for taking a peek - namaste!
