This driftwood sun catcher is also a wind chime. Featuring hand picked driftwood from the beaches of south Florida, 5 organic natural mineral slices called agate slices, Swarovski Crystals, glass beads, and lots of time and love. I used heavy duty fishing line for the beaded strands which attach to little metal screw hooks. I chose 3 brownish red agate slices with 2 golden yellow agate slices for this wind chime-sun catcher because I was going for an organic and rustic aesthetic. I used lots of iridescent AB clear Swarovski Crystals as well as brownish crystals. The other beads on each strand are Czech glass in different shades of earth toned colors. The agates are close enough together that they clink and make a beautiful sound in the wind. This is meant for indoor use but can be hung outside under shelter.

There are 7 metal screw hooks attached to the driftwood; 2 on the top of the wood to hang it with and 5 below to hang the beaded strands and agates from. The driftwood is about 1.5 feet long and the longest strand hangs about 12 inches below the wood. I ship these using bubble wrap and a special shipping tube so it's safe. This is an absolutely beautiful piece of art that combines natural and synthetic parts that was handmade with lots of love and the best intentions.

*I can make these in various colors using as many agates as you want. I have agate slices in natural/yellow, orange, green, teal green, purple, royal blue and hot pink. They measure approximately 2.5 feet long from the top of the twine hanger to the bottom of the lowest agate slice. Of course I can make these in whatever dimensions you prefer. Most of the driftwood pieces I have measures approximately 20-50 inches long. These have to be shipped using specialty shipping tubes which cost $10 each. I have added the cost of shipping tubes into the prices. The cost of shipping runs about $12-$15 domestically but I WILL REFUND ANY SHIPPING OVERAGE. You can have 5, 6 OR 7 or even 8-10 agate slices on beaded strands. I am also open to making these without the beads - just hanging agate slices from store driftwood is pretty too.
