Listing is for an antique ironstone teapot by John Wedg Wood. The pattern is known as “Tyrol.”
John Wood was a potter that operated in England between 1841-1860 and added the middle name of Wedg to ride the coattails of Josiah's (the real Wedgwood) success.
It's about 10” tall and 9 3/4” from handle to spout. It can hold about 55 fluid oz.
Excellent shape showing minor wear. Area of glaze stain on the base and a few small losses on interior store chamber.
