Moscow-5 is a Soviet camera, the latest production model in the Moscow rangefinder and rangefinder machine.
Characteristics: type of photographic material used - film type 120 (film). A frame size of 6x9 or 6x6 cm on a 120-type film. On a 120-type film, 8 frames of 6x9 cm in size or 12 frames of 6x6 cm in size were obtained. The body of the camera was injection molded and covered with leatherette.
The body is collapsible, after tilting the front panel automatically with the help of a system of levers, the fur with a lens rim and a central shutter was extended.
The rear wall is removable. Lens “Industar-24”, focal length 105 mm, relative aperture 1: 3.5, single-layer illumination.

The viewfinder is optical, non-conjugate with a range finder, in contrast to earlier models of the “Moscow” family, not folding, but rigidly mounted in the top
cover of the camera. There is a switch for shooting on a 6 * 6 cm format (a frame restriction frame extends between the lens and the eyepiece of the
viewfinder).
Focusing on the rangefinder, coupled with the rotation of the front lens of the lens, focusing from "infinity" to 1.5 meters. A rotating optical wedge store is used in
the design of the range finder.
Platoon and rewind film separate. Rewind of a film by figures on a portable film roll. On the back of the camera there are two closing windows with red light

The camera has a multi-exposure protection mechanism: the shutter release button remains locked until the film rewind head is turned a few turns.
Nevertheless, as in other devices of the "Moscow" family, multiple exposure is possible. To do this, the shutter must be lowered lever, located on the rim of the
lens.
The camera has two tripod sockets with 3/8 inch threads to secure the camera in a vertical and horizontal position.
