Vintage 1960s Acapulco, Mexico tourist souvenir--handwoven straw handbag with embroidered rattan adornments, brass turn lock and faux leather double handles. The straw flap of the bag is embroidered in blue straw in all caps, "ACAPULCO," and lush, multi-color flowers and leaves are raised embroidered adornments on the front of the bag. The bag--unlined--with handle drops of 4 inches. The leather is attached to the straw body by a series metallic studs, each about 5/8"D, two of which serve as feet for the bottom of the bag. All told, the bag is in excellent pre-owned, vintage condition, functionally and esthetically, showing little wear. Approximately 15” store x 5” x 10”.
