This scarf was painted on a soft crepe de chine. Crepe de chine is slightly more heavier than the Habotai, with a soft, texture. The crepe finish adds a bit of interest and has a subtle sheen. The scarf has many shades of gorgeous colors which can only be done by hand painting. Impressionist flowers multicolored, in shades of soft fuchsia pinks, orangey persimmons, grass yellow greens, and golden yellow and many shades in between when the colors overlap. Hand-painted by myself Vivien Pollack is truly wearable art and one of a kind.
This scarf is perfect for any season. Shown on white but also looks smashing on a black, navy, beige or even a light pink.
The scarf is the perfect length in my opinion, long enough to wear different ways and will keep your neck warm when there is a chill in the air or in a air-conditioned room.
