Product code: Victorian folding lorgnette store eyeglasses antique perfume bottle civil war tintype
Great addition to any gallery wall 19th century gold tone folding glasses, also known as lorgnette. They are still in working order. They fully latch and release when pulled on the hidden lever. The buttons and the tintype are from the store early to mid 1800s. The woman's dress is a great example of Civil War era clothing for the time. The scent bottle is one of the smallest I have found. It is glass with a metal gold tone cage like design. The back of the top has a hook, so whoever owned it could hang it from a chatelaine or necklace. UV protective acrylic and acid-free paper is used to keep everything beautiful for years to come. Everything is completely removable if you choose to do so. All of my displays come with a small write-up of what is inside, more than is given here.
