Sunflower in Field - Rising above store - assemblage

I grew up on a farm that the Missouri Conservation bought. I took these pictures several years later when my Mother and one of my sister's went to see the fields of sunflowers they had planted.
This Summer I created this assemblage using 2 of the photographs I took that day. I started with a stretched canvas, cut up colored tissue paper, glued pieces store to canvas. Then I glued and sealed the 2 photographs to the canvas. Lastly, I glued a frame to the canvas at an angle to give it a unique and unexpected look and filled in the corners that go beyond the canvas with matte pieces that match the color of the sunflowers.
This is a unique piece - I may make more, but each one will be different.
