This is a hand turned and designed Bottle Stopper made of Beautiful Purpleheart wood. It is finished with a hard Acrylic finish to make it extremely durable. The Acrylic finish gives a beautiful shine imparting a quality finished look to the product. It is made to last a lifetime. All pictures were taken in natural daylight/sunshine.
The stopper portion of this product is a durable chrome plate finish, teardrop shaped, insert-er with teared rubber seals. It sits lower in the bottle's mouth and imparts no taste to the beverage.
"Peltogyne, commonly known as purpleheart, amendoim or amaranth, is a genus of 23 species of flowering plants in the family Fabaceae, native to tropical regions of Central and South America, where they occur in tropical rainforests. Purpleheart comes from the rainforests of Brazil, Guyana, and Suriname. The trees are prized for their beautiful heartwood which, when cut, quickly turns from a light brown to a rich purple color."
