Original Oil Painting
This 18" x 15" oil painting on canvas stretched over a wooden frame was done by a highly skilled artist. I couldn't find any info about the signature, always tricky to decipher. Appears to read Alonso M store or Alonso III (pic 4), possibly way off. It is of a traditional fishing boat, resting among the rushes at sunrise/sunset. It draws you in further the longer you look, quite relaxing.
On the back is the original store sticker. It was originally purchased from Isy Art Gallery, which at one point existed in Toronto(pic 5).
The canvas is intact with no rips or tears.
