Beautiful antique French brass religious alter candleholder dating from the end of the 1800's early 1900's.

A gorgeous antique French candlestick store that has been made of brass with a rich bronzed coloured finish and good patina. This single candlestick has 3 large lion paw feet which support a triangular shaped base, this base has been decorated with an images of the Virgin Mary, Jesus and Joseph. The base supports a long slender column with a large round candle holder tray at the top.

Very tall and elegant antique alter candle holder which measures 45 cm ( 17 3/4") tall, 12 cm x 12 cm between the lion paw feet.

Weighing 1140g unwrapped.

In fantastic condition for age and use, no breaks or repairs, some age related wear to the top candle wax tray and some old wax is still remaining here and there but this just adds to it's charm, the candle holder has little dings but it's sturdy and will still hold a candle.
