MARION GODART Paris Mid-Century Inspired Nubian Rhinestone Brooch
Festive wel designed Egyptian revival inspired Nubian brooch by Marion Godart Paris. It features the torso and face of a richly dressed Nubian, clothes and turban heavily set with red white and green rhinestones between golden accents. Black enamel face. Centerpiece is a wonderful magic scaly dragon egg rhinestone, a eggshaped glass stone faceted to look pinky orange from one side and green from the other side. The back plate of the stone has round, moon - and heart-shaped openings through which these images mysteriously appear in the stone. Brooch is adorned with 2 teardrop shape faux pearls. Gold tone metal, roll-over safety clasp. Measures 4" x 1 5/8". Old stock, never been worn.
