You Need A Frog in Your Window, Faux stained Glass, Lots of store Detail (12.5 inches tall by 15.5 inches wide)
Frog medicine is associated with great magic due to the nature of living in two worlds: water and land. It is said its voice can call forth the rains. Its connection to water also lends itself to moon energies and the tides. There is a connection to the Egyptian Goddess Herit. Frogs bring abundance when they are part of your animal totem. They also signify metamorphosis while bringing in water energies to balance your life.
This is a 12.5 inches tall by 15.5 inches wide piece. It is framed with zinc (came) framing which I solder. I then solder two rings for hanging and include a hardware style set of chain so it can be hung immediately in any window you choose. I took the picture outside hanging from some fencing which you can see behind the glass.
Stained glass can be very expensive and does not allow for the amount of detail that can be achieved in faux stained glass. My definition of "faux" stained glass is the use of acrylic leading for the line work and acrylic paints for the color. I custom mix my own paints in order to achieve wide variations in color. The pictures were taken outside in order to show the clarity of each design. Each of my glass artwork items is original in its color variations. The art work surface has been treated with an acrylic sealant for protection and can be hung in any window. I would not recommend hanging it outside as this can damage both the frame and the artwork. I use a sealant to secure the glass artwork into the frame. The sealant allows for variations in temperature and humidity. I've included very strong hardware style chain so that it can be hung securely in any window. The chain will be wrapped separately in the order to not cause any damage to the glass. Care of your artwork will be included.
Surfaces should be wiped with a DRY CLOTH ONLY! Do store not use any chemicals or furniture polish as this can damage the artwork. I often use a large soft paint brush to clean dust from the surface.
Rest assured. I pack carefully in order to protect the glass which means a lot of bubble wrap (see reviews). I use saved bubble wrap and used boxes (when possible) which I collect from a local business so that these items don't enter our waste disposal system.
Due to the size of the box, I am charged for "dimensional shipping" by USPS. The shipping box is 24x12x6 in order to allow for secure packing. Your order will include USPS insurance for listed value, which I pay for on all of the items I sell. Any claims of damage MUST INCLUDE photos from the buyer which show the inside and outside of the box as well as the damaged item. Without these photos a damage claim cannot be submitted to USPS. If you have a damage claim you must submit it IMMEDIATELY to USPS as well as contacting me directly through Etsy.
