Celtic Goddess Gouache Painting store - Aoibell

This is an original painting inspired by the myths and legends of Aoibell the Irish/Celtic Goddess of earth and foreseer of death. Once you hear the tones of her harp playing your death is not far behind. She holds an hourglass swirling with black sand and a skull. She floats in a storm of leaves symbolizing her connection to trees and the earth. I created this piece to remember the strength and power of women as captured by ancient legends.

This piece has been painted on hardwood board and is painting in gouache paint. Hanging wire is already attached to the back; it store is ready to hang - no frame needed.
