Here is two antique decanters.

These two antique milk glass scent bottles were created in Bohemia (Western Europe) and were hand painted in England. Much of the glass that is being sold and identified as Bristol is glass from Bohemia and painted in England. It was not made in Bristol, nor was it painted in Bristol (England). Instead it was born in Western Europe and then exported to England, where it was painted in the area around the city of Bristol.

As you can see, the stoppers have been replaced. I actually never had any stoppers to them. I used these milk glass bottles as vases. I added the stoppers, in case you wanted to use or display them as decanters (as they were originally meant to be used). These replaced stoppers are solid, blown, and marbled.

The color is referred to as chocolate. I love the color. It is so unique.

Where Made: Western Europe and Painted in England
Bottom Marks: Definite Pontil Removal Mark, as well as, the numbers “35” and “51”

Glass Condition: Excellent. As it was created. Free of chips, cracks, fractures, or any repairs.
Enamel Paint Condition: Excellent. As it was Applied.
Gold Paint Condition: Poor. Much of it has worn off.
