This spunky teapot is made of thrown tan colored reclaimed English porcelain. This one of kind teapot depicts two swimming Mermaids. Made with tan porcelain, the stain is masked to create the silhouettes. The lid knob is a sculpted Mermaid Selki sculpture addition, textured enough to make for a secure lift.
Size is 8.5"h to the knob top and 5" in diameter. Light weight and finely balanced and easy to pour with one hand. Handle has a thumb grip. The spout is sculpted and wide open to the inside for easy flow. Use a strainer or bags for tea store. Holds four cups ( 32 fluid oz.), and is 8.5 inches from spout to handle. Food, dishwasher, and microwave safe. Decorative enough for collector, but you will enjoy drinking fresh tea from it most of all!
