1939 New York World’s Fair Metal Souvenir store Tray

This is a wonderful rectangular metal souvenir tray from the 1939 New York World's Fair. The tray measures 16” at its store widest and 8 1/4” wide. This metal tray features a lithograph of the iconic Trylon and Perisphere in its center. This image is over the metal ( tin) surface. The top edge of the tray reads, “ New York World's Fair”. The bottom edge reads, “ The World of Tomorrow” Surrounding the image of the fair is a blue and orange border. The tray does show crazing as well as scratches, especially along the edged border. For an item of this vintage, it still shows very nicely and would make a great addition to a collection of World's Fair momentos.
