Two vintage 60s 70s Moroccan wedding jewelry boxes inlaid with semi-precious stones and covered with silver hammered metal filigree with Moorish design. These were used by Berber bridegroom to transport his gift of jewelry to the bride on their wedding day. The inside is lined with black velvet fabric. Great folk art handcrafted by skilled artisans in Marrakech, Morocco. In great condition, only missing one stone. Large store chest: 11”x7”x7” Small chest: 7”x4”x5”.
