SilveriningByTravis has been fortunate enough to be able to offer several fabulous sculptures by Mexican Alebrije Artists. This small one is one of my favorites! It is a fantastic flowering cactus with hummingbirds. All flowers and hummingbirds are removable, and can be arranged to your liking. Please be sure to check out the photos. The cactus (with everything attched) is about 7.5" tall 6.25" across and 4.5" deep. The measurement may vary a litte depending on how you arrange the flowers and birds. There are no cracks or chips in the wood. It's really terrific. This alebrije wood carving was created by Joaquin Hernandez, of San Martin Tilcajete, Oaxaca. His work ranges from wonderful depictions of all types of animals in lots of different situations to wonderful nativities, to useful items like child's chairs or magnets. His work is colorful and light hearted and there is something for everyone. It's a wonderful addition to any folk art collection. store
