This little porcelain Charolette where's enameled flowers and dangles from a vintage watch case. The case store houses a glittery dichroic pattern of pink to purple starfish and bubbles.
Frozen Charlottes are turn of the century porcelain dolls and were are based on the poem "A Corpse Going to a Ball" by Seba Smith, which tells of a young girl called Charlotte who refused to wrap up warmly to go on a sleigh ride because she did not want to cover up her pretty dress; she froze to death during the journey.
This pendant is light in weight and measures 3" tall. The brass chain measures 18" in length, but can be altered to fit your needs. This is a perfect gift for any age.
Most of my pieces are one of a kind as the vintage pieces that I use are hard to come by. I use a combination of vintage that I find and pieces that I make. My handmade pieces do not have a perfect machine made look. It is a quality which I love. Each piece will be carefully boxed and will be around for generations to come.
