Vintage store "Far Fan" Silver Bracelet Tribal Mask Motif

Beautiful vintage (1940s or 1950's) bracelet by the collectible maker Plateria Far Fan (Taller Far Fan), which was active from the early- to mid-20th century. Sterling sterling silver with 12 inlaid obsidian stones. The obsidian is an unusual variety with a chatoyant store (shimmering) quality, much like Labradorite. Three of the stones are carved in a tribal face mask (or skull) motif, characteristic of Far Fan. Strong slide clasp which opens easily and snaps shut securely. Weight 66 grams. The inner circumference is about 7 1/4", width is 1 1/4". Marked "925" (sterling), and and "FAR FAN" (with other undecipherable stamping).
