Green Vase, Orb Vase store

This unique handmade ceaamic vase is glazed in tones of gorgeous green. A thin stripe of unglazed clay shows the beautiful brown color of the clay. Fingerprint marks, where the vase was held while glazing, are evident. It's hand built and purposefully not-quite-perfectly round, with a jagged top opening, giving the vase a wabi-sabi look and feel. Wabi sabi is an aesthetic sometimes described as beauty that is imperfect, impermanent, and incomplete. Beauty that exists because of, and not in spite of, imperfection.The vase is glazed on the inside so it's watertight. It's signed with my artist signature "ri" on the bott m. Measurements, in inches, are approximately 4 high, 4 wide, and 1.5 base. The top opening is 1/2 inch store wide. It weighs 11 ounces.Because each of my ceaamic pieces is made with love and care by hand, minor variations sometimes occur, such as slight imperfections in the glaze.
