It is from the Koroit opal mines in Queensland Australia. A solid huge Australian Natural Koroit Boulder Opal cabochon, free shape, high polished and well cut, has an outstanding Koroit pattern with bright colors and multitude of opal splashes: green, violet, blue, a little bit of red, mostly in green and blue. 34x30x7 mm, 76.10 ct.
