WHY BUY ORGANIC COTTON?
The fashion industry has a significant impact on the environment, and this includes the pesticides and chemicals used to create our textiles. One way to reduce your fashion footprint is to choose certified organic clothing. By purchasing pieces that have been certified by the Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS), you're guaranteeing that your clothing is free from toxic chemicals and pollutants, from the harvest to the factory, to you. Organic cotton is not exposed to the weakening, harsh chemicals that commercially grown cotton is, therefore organic cotton will last many years, with proper care.
