Rare Vintage highly sought after Aynsley Corset shaped Tea Cup & Saucer designed and hand painted by J. Bailey in 1930's.

Intricately hand painted cabbage like Pink Roses embellished with 22kt gold around the rim, borders, handle, and base of cup.
Designs painted by Bailey were done with a particular style and flourish, and can be picked out from across a room by Aynsley collectors. Joseph Bailey's work is in highest demand. The large pink rose, sometimes referred to as a cabbage rose, is particularly characteristic of his work.
