Vintage 40s BARKCLOTH Era FLORAL Stripe Print FABRIC store Yardage Mid Century Upholstery Drapery 2.75+ yards ~35.5"wide x 98"length
What can I say? It is unusual to come across such a long length of vintage UNUSED cotton drapery fabric from the 1940s barkcloth era! The fact that this one is perfect, with no fading or spots is even better! There's plenty here for a pillows, chair cushions, curtains and more.
I believe the fabric is a cotton/linen mix--it is definitely from the 1940s "barkcloth era", though it is not the standard textured barkcloth. The colors are a light and dark teal stripe with meandering rose store flowers and yellow daisies.
The panel measures 93"x 36.5" with an additional 5" of hem, bringing the full, usable length to 98" (2 .75+ yards). There is a strip of pleater fabric still attached to the wrong side of the top for pleating on a curtain rod. Clean and vibrant!
