"New York, N.Y." - A Photographic Tour of Manhattan Island from Battery Park to Spuyten Duyvil by Fred W. McDarrah with its original dust jacket. 1964 1st edition; Corinth Books; New York. The book is inscribed in pen by McDarrah on the title page: "For my publisher Ted who knew me when!! Fred W. McDarrah August 24, 1964." Contents include Greenwich Village, Wall Street, Fulton Fish Market, Lower West Side, Chinatown, The Bowery, Little Italy, Harlem, Fifth Avenue, and more. There are black & white photographs on every page. McDarrah was a staff photographer for The Village Voice and is best known for documenting the cultural phenomenon known as the Beat Generation from its inception in the 1950's.

Clean covers and spine. Tight binding with no cracks and no loose pages. Nice interior - the pages are clean with no issues found. store Inscribed by the author in pen on the title page. Overall the book is in Very Good+ condition. The dust jacket is un-clipped with the original $4.50 intact on the front flap (though the price has been lined-out in blue pen); there are small tears along the perimeter, and larger tears near the top and bottom edges of the spine...overall the dust jacket is in Good condition.
