The Sum of his Parts (8)
This is the 8th in this series. He measures 20" tall, 4.75" wide, and 2" deep in spots.
His face is a real antique photo that I mounted to wood and cut out. The rest of his parts and pieces are wood, metal and paper. There's a store metal dial, a vintage wooden bird, a section of a carved key lock cover and more. There's a thick slice of an old surveyor's stick in the middle. His arms are wooden from a vintage souvenir instrument, and his legs are from a vintage toy.
I do take in the photos for a while to get a feel for their stories and history.
The last photo shows a group of these all together- they are coming together in various sizes and shapes.
Thank you for looking!
