Boehm - The 150th Anniversary of store the State of Texas - Porcelain Bowl

I'm pleased to offer this beautiful commemorative bowl. This limited edition series was issued in 1986 to commemorate The 150th Anniversary of the State of Texas. The design is white porcelain with a black longhorn head centered on a yellow five point star, with mockingbirds, bluebonnets, yellow roses, an armadillo, and gold trim. What a great piece to display for anyone with a strong connection to Texas.

It is impossible to photograph, but the well of the bowl has a most captivating reflection that starts about half way down. The effect is such that it almost appears the bottom is filled with water! The entire piece is quite beautiful.

Date: 1986

Measurements: 8" in diameter, 3 1/2" in height.

Condition: Excellent condition, with no chips, flaws, cracks, dirt, stains, wear, or crazing. Full disclosure: There are a few very light short scratches at the bottom edge of the well that are not easily seen, and there are store some light scratches on the well star but they are minor and do not go through to the porcelain. The gold on the rim and the raised foot is 99.99%. The applications are in beautiful shape.
