This Kholuy Jewelry Box, Russian Art Painting School lacquer box was
handmade from papier mache and hand painted by oil & tempera paints,
multi-layer lacquer finish, hinged. The box is painted by talented russian
artist Kovalev N. and signed by him on a bottom. He is very professional
in painting of Russian Fairy Tales, animals, butterfly & birds. This box was
hand painted in 1994, so it was used and has small damages & cracks.

The artist use real susal gold at ornament. Collectible piece.
