Resin Wood Pendant, Necklace, Burl, Sterling store Silver Snake Chain

This is a one-of-a-kind piece of jewelry that will not remain unnoticed whether you wear it on the street, at a party or on the beach.
It was hand made from stabilized burl-wood fused with resin. It was carefully hand carved, then followed by a long process of sanding and polishing until a glass-like finish was achieved. After polishing, I applied three coats of lacquer in order to provide scratch resistance, UV protection and waterproofing. Due to this treatment, this beautiful pendant can be worn over and over for many years in direct sun light and even in the water, making it a perfect companion for summer attire and beach wear. The vibrant, natural colors were created by mixing alcohol inks into the resin.
Like any glass or resin object, it will catch the surrounding light, creating beautiful reflections and shadows.
The chain and store findings are Sterling Silver and might need cleaning from time to time. Use appropriate cleaning and polishing solutions available on the market or use a mixture of white vinegar(1/2 cup) and baking soda(2 tbsp.) to remove heavier tarnish. Polish with a mild detergent.
